The face behind the business
Sibella spent the first few years of her working life in the corporate world, as a PA. She quickly realised this was not the environment for her. Sibella then trained in a local salon and gained her accredited certification in classic lashes. After completing the course, Sibella also secured a job at the salon. However she had a bigger dream in mind and decided to go solo full time in May 2019 and Lashed with Love was born. While building her client base, Sibella worked as a Clinic Manager in an Aesthetics and Wellness clinic in Knightsbridge for a few months, where her love of aesthetics was born.
Sibella wanted to create a safe space where people of all walks of life could escape the busy world for a few hours, recharge, offload and walk out ready to face it all, with some great lashes. Put life on pause for an hour or two, catch a few zzz and wake up looking gorgeous.
After finding her feel in the world of lashes, Sibella wanted to be able to develop her skills further as a beauty therapist. Clients would always ask “who did your brows?” Sibella has always done them herself and being a perfectionist, didn’t like others to do them. This was the catalyst for her to expand her knowledge and train in Henna Brows and Brow Lamination treatments.
Sibella is keen to always maintain her lashing skills and keep up to date, as the industry is constantly adapting. It’s important for Sibella to be on top of the new information so that our clients can rest assure they are in safe hands. This lead Sibella to do her Russian Volume training in March 2020.
The pandemic hit and threw a spanner or two in the works, as Nude had to temporarily close due to national lockdowns. It gave Sibella time to think and brought her attention back to aesthetics. And so Sibella started her aesthetics journey and began studying. By November 2021 Sibella was fully trained and qualified in a range of new aesthetic injectable treatments.
After my training Sibella knew it was time to rebrand to Nude Aesthetics & Beauty. Sibella wanted to call the business NUDE because she wanted people to feel like they are their most authentic self. At Nude we are passionate about keeping our clients looking like themselves, specialising in subtle treatments or “tweakments”.
As the business grows, so does our team! Welcoming Olivia our lovely new Lash Tech, who works Tuesdays and Thursdays, offering classic, hybrid and volume lash extensions.
